I was so busy yesterday I never even turned on my computer.  I didn't get online today until after 4 - got lots of things going on.

Yesterday morning I left the house around 8 to meet a friend for coffee.  We got to gabbing about a million things and the next thing you know, we realized it was 11:30.  We'd sat for over 3 hours nursing the same cups of coffee.  Starbucks is going to start charging us rent on the table if we keep that up.

Today, I went to a writers meeting.  They meet every other week at the bookstore where I'm having my signing on Saturday.  They were an interesting, mixed group of people, all very friendly and welcoming.  One of the women there volunteers at a local stable to do horse therapy for disabled people.  I thought it sounded like something #2 would be interested in.  She's going to go on Saturday and check it out.  I hope she enjoys it and pursues it - I think it would be good for her to get out a little, meet new people and do different things.  Yeah, I know what you're saying to me, the infamous hermit.  Hi pot, meet kettle.  But I'm working on expanding my social scope.

Hubby took the boys and #4 camping today.  They were going to set up camp on the beach about 15 miles from here.  The kids have been looking forward to it for a while.  I hope they have a good time.  The boys had so much fun when they went a month ago, that #4 insisted she be taken along this time.  #2 and I prefer the comfort of our own beds, thank you very much.
