I usually have no problem falling asleep at night. Twenty minutes after my head hits the pillow, I'm history. But last night was awful. I went to bed at 10, but couldn't seem to fall asleep. As I tossed and turned, I started developing a headache. Usually when I get a headache, I go to sleep and that'll take care of it, but since I couldn't fall asleep, my headache got worse til it felt like there were shards of glass bouncing around in my head and poking my eyeballs. Finally, a little after one, I got up and took some asprin. We were out of melatonin, which I've had to use once before and discovered works, so I was out of luck there. We did have some sleeping pills that hubby'll use on occasion, but since I've never taken a sleeping pill in my life I didn't know how my body was going to react. I needed to be up in 5 hours to get

#4 off to school and I didn't want it to put me out so deeply I didn't hear the alarm ring or something. So, I skipped on the sleeping pills and finally, around 2:30, I finally fell asleep. I didn't take a nap or anything today, so I'm pretty tired and I still have a little bit of last nights headache hanging on. So I'll probably take an asprin and a melatonin (I bought some today) before I even crawl in to bed tonight. I don't want to wake up late tomorrow and not get the kids to school, I've been looking forward to getting rid of them all week.
